Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 July 2026

This privacy policy explains how Everridge Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are (data controller)

The data controller responsible for your personal data is:

2. The personal data we collect

We only collect data that we need:

  • Enquiry data — when you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional company name and the contents of your message.
  • Technical data — our hosting infrastructure automatically processes limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type and request logs, for security and to operate the site reliably.
  • Cookie data — see our Cookie Policy. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies without your consent.

We do not intentionally collect special category data, and we do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling.

3. How we use your data and our lawful bases

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced those interests against your rights. You can object to this processing at any time (see “Your rights”).

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers (processors) who help us run our business, and only as necessary. These may include:

  • Our website hosting and database provider;
  • Our email provider, used to receive and respond to enquiries.

Each processor acts under a written agreement that requires them to protect your data. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. International transfers

Where a service provider processes data outside the UK, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place — such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) / addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, typically up to 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • be informed about how we use your data;
  • access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • restrict or object to our processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@everridge.co.uk. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.

8. Complaints to the ICO

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):

  • Website: ico.org.uk
  • Helpline: 0303 123 1113
  • Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF

We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

9. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
